About
Katy Vanatta earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Master of Social Work with a focus in Clinical Social Work. She joined SEKMHC in May 2022 as a School-Based Children’s Case Manager, later completing her clinical internship before becoming a School-Based Outpatient Therapist in August 2025.
Katy brings over 11 years of experience in child welfare, including her work as a Child Protection Specialist with Kansas DCF. She has also served as a Multidisciplinary Team Member with Hope Unlimited Child Advocacy Center and as an Advanced Practice Forensic Interviewer.
