Clinical  Therapy & Counseling

Outpatient Psychotherapy

Outpatient therapy services are provided by qualified mental health professionals who are licensed by the State of Kansas to provide mental health services to both adults and children. The services can be for individuals, families, and couples counseling.

School-Based Psychotherapy

We have partnered with the following school districts to place a licensed outpatient therapist and children’s case manager within the schools. This allows our team to collaborate with school staff to address any mental health concerns and schedule appointments at convenient times within the child’s schedule, reducing time out of the classroom so the student does not fall behind with classwork.

We are currently working in the following school districts:

  • Woodson USD 366
  • Iola USD 257
  • Marmaton Valley 256
  • Humboldt USD 258
  • Chanute USD 413
  • Erie USD 101
  • Crest USD 479
  • Garnett USD 365
  • Prairie View USD 362
  • Uniontown USD 235
  • Fort Scott USD 234
  • Thayer USD 447

Prevention and Public Education

Public education, personal growth and parenting workshops, professional training, and community consultation are available. Parent Support Groups meet monthly and are open to the public. Stress management and stress debriefing services are available. Outside support groups may request the assistance of a staff facilitator, and a speaker’s bureau is available to community agencies and service groups by contacting the Executive Director’s office at (620) 365-8641.
