Open Access is a service provided by Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center that provides walk-in medication management and therapy services. You do not need an appointment to come in during Open Access hours. You can find this service across many of our locations, and we are expanding.

What to bring:

• Proof of Insurance (if applicable)
• Driver's License or State ID
• Proof of Income
• Medication List
• Intake Packet (if completed and a non-established client)
  • Adult Intake Packet
  • Child Intake Packet

Types of Appointments:

• Medication Management- are encouraged to manage concerns that come up in between your regular appointments with your medication provider. It is also a great way to make up a canceled or missed appointment that’s hard to reschedule.
• Intake- is a collaborative discussion focused on exploring your current stressors and symptoms, the impact on your daily life and functioning, and, together with the therapist, creating a plan for improvement that works well with your life.
• Therapy- an individual therapy session to use if something comes up between sessions that cannot wait until the next session, or a way to get in an appointment if you missed or canceled.
