Clinical  Therapy & Counseling

Outpatient Psychotherapy

Outpatient therapy services are provided by qualified mental health professionals who are licensed by the State of Kansas to provide mental health services to both adults and children. The services can be for individuals, families, and couples counseling.

Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center is excited to participate in the THINK Grant, an initiative designed to expand access to behavioral health services in rural communities. Thanks to this opportunity, our clients can now meet with licensed behavioral health providers through secure, private telehealth visits, right from Ashley Clinic. This means you can talk with someone who can help with stress, mood changes, sleep difficulties, and other life challenges without having to travel. The THINK Grant allows us to continue strengthening whole-person care and make sure support is close to home when you need it most.

School-Based Psychotherapy

We have partnered with the following school districts to place a licensed outpatient therapist and children’s case manager within the schools. This allows our team to collaborate with school staff to address any mental health concerns and schedule appointments at convenient times within the child’s schedule, reducing time out of the classroom so the student does not fall behind with classwork.
