About
Dr. Daniel Ortiz is the Medical Director at Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center, where he began working in 2023. With four years of residency training in psychiatry (2020-2024) and a decade of experience as a medical technologist in a clinical lab, Dr. Ortiz brings a unique perspective to mental health care. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at KUMC and as an Associate Program Director for the psychiatry residency program.
