Carly Klenklen, LMSW

School-based Outpatient Therapist

Chanute, KS

“My favorite part about working at SEKMHC is the collaboration and teamwork approach we utilize for treating our clients, whether with other SEKMHC service providers, medical primary care providers, community partners, or schools. As a school-based therapist, I coordinate with schools in rural areas to provide services to clients who may not otherwise be able to access mental health services."

Before joining Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center in June 2023, Carly worked in child welfare as a family support worker in foster care case management and as a child protection specialist conducting child abuse and neglect investigations. She has experience providing whole-person healthcare from her experience as a hospital social worker. Carly continues to work part-time as a hospice social worker and includes supervision in her role.
